CAN 93 DAYS UNDERWATER DE-AGE YOU?

Professor Joseph Dituri—more endearingly known as 'Dr. Deep Sea'—emerged from the depths to declare, "Got gills?"

Why?

Because this superhuman submerged himself in the Atlantic Ocean for 93 days straight, that smashes his previous world record of 74 days. I'm pretty sure I couldn't stay in my living room that long without cracking!

Dituri nestled into a 100-square-foot pod that sits 30 feet underwater.

Armed with eggs, salmon, resistance bands, and sheer willpower, he was prepared for such a complex challenge.

His daily routine? Power-packed meals of proteins, a workout session, and power naps. It sounds boring, but when he came up for air, it looked like he was ten years younger.

Dr. Dituri, a University of South Florida educator and retired US naval officer, aims beyond smashing records and binge-eating salmon. The project, Neptune 100, combines medical and ocean research with educational outreach.

He's confident this underwater lifestyle has extended his lifespan by 20 percent. The science behind this? It’s not definitive, but his next goal is 100 days. Each time he does this, we get more data and insights.

Before you know it, Dr. Deep Sea will come out of his pod looking 25 again. We joke, but the trips are helping his body rest and recover in new ways.

Who knows what they’ll discover from these bold tests of human endurance.

☀️ The Bright Side

Meet Zoey, the Labrador-German Shepherd mix from Metairie, Louisiana; Guinness World Records declared her the record holder for the longest tongue on a living dog.

We're talking a whopping 12.7 centimeters (5 inches). It's clear as day when she's panting after her fun escapades, and boy, does it slobber!

She overtook previous record holder Bisbee, an English Setter from Tucson, Arizona. Just remember, if you ever run into her, she's friendly as they come, but pet her at your own risk.

It's all fun and games until a canine super soaker hits you!

🧠 Wednesday Wisdom

The most important thing is to enjoy your life —to be happy—it's all that matters.

Audrey Hepburn

This quote is a powerful reminder that our happiness matters most.

It's like saying, don't sweat the small stuff or get lost in chasing success or wealth. Instead, focus on what makes you truly happy, right here and now, because life's too short not to enjoy the journey.

Remember, happiness isn't one-size-fits-all; it's a personal discovery and varies from person to person.
